Anja Eriksen was born in Denmark and has spent several years living in New Zealand. Anja has a life-defining curiosity about the world, it's landscapes and cultures, which has led her to travel widely across Europe, Asia and the Pacific.

She draws inspiration from forms and structures, blending the pure lines of Scandinavian design with the raw and unspoiled landscapes, shapes, and colours of the countries she has explored, from New Zealand to Greenland and Japan.

In 2011, Anja Eriksen graduated as a Goldsmith with Honours in Copenhagen, Denmark, after completing a four and a half year apprenticeship with master jewellers and working for some of Denmark's renowned design houses. In 2017, she further enhanced her skills by completing a jewellery design education at the GIA Gemological Institute of America in New York.

Anja launched her own range - Anja Eriksen Jewellery - with a modern elegant style and a passion for great craftsmanship and precious metals.

"From a raw piece of material you can create some of the most beautiful works of art. It fascinates me every time"

Concept

Anja Eriksen designs are made in collaboration with her customers, and produced by hand at her workshop in Copenhagen.

It is important to Anja, whether she is working on a new collection, adding new life to heirlooms, or creating one of a kind, custom-made pieces, that good craftsmanship and passion for her work is evident in every piece of jewellery she creates.

All jewellery is created from precious metals, diamonds and pearls. Anja strives only to produce jewelry made of sustainable materials; recycled gold and silver, sustainable pearls and conflict-free diamonds in traditional, rough and antique cuts.

The use of materials gives the jewellery a unique expression of being classical, modern, rough and feminine.

"When working with unique pieces of jewellery, and bespoke orders, it is important for me that my customer has the best experience possible.

From the first moment of contact until they walk out the workshop with their very own piece of Anja Eriksen jewellery."
