Anja Eriksen was honored to present her work in the 2020 exhibition Havets Juveler (Jewels of the Sea) at Fjord&Bælt, which celebrated the wonders of the ocean through the lens of contemporary jewelry design.
The exhibition showcased the beauty of materials sourced directly from the sea, such as pearls, coral, and amber, intricately transformed into unique jewelry pieces.
These materials, shaped by nature's processes over millennia, took centre stage in this special collection.
Anja’s contribution, School of Life, was a stunning piece of wearable art inspired by the sea’s dynamic forms and colors.
The work featured 52 silver brooches, 2 in gold, 112 pearl ear studs, and 30 diamond ear studs, all designed to represent fish bubbles in a flowing, interactive format. Anja’s creation reflected the serenity and poetry of the ocean, inviting visitors to engage with its beauty both as an artwork and as jewelry.
